Nothing snide about calling Jones a cheat or anybody else who seeks to gain an advantage by play acting let alone getting a fellow pro sent off, there is too much of it all round full stop, you can hold hands with each other on here with tel all you want, the silly name calling is just as pathetic as his bias .
Having just watched the tackle (I've only seen it once, mind, on BBC Breakfast or whatever it's called) that resulted in the West Ham player being sent off, I'm amazed that some are suggesting that the red card wasn't deserved. It was a reckless challenge, with both feet off the ground (which is 'outlawed' and recognised as a 'red card offence' now), and the ref. was 100% right to send him off Phil Jones must have been hurt by it, and it didn't look to me like he pretended to be so to get the player sent off Is this just an anti Man U thread 'cos they 'got away with one' against us (or have been getting 'the rub of the green' from referees for many years), or do some really believe that reckless, two-footed, challenges like this are okay ?
amazed yes ,how after all that rolling about holding his leg in agony then getting straight back up after the red and played the rest of the match ,yep amazing.
both were committed only one didnt fein injury ,you stated jones must have been hurt ,he then played another 75 mins .
In some countries, the ability to fool the referee is considered to be a skill or an art. The Italians call this kind of craftiness furbo. Must be groundhog day.
West Ham fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the club announced on Wednesday afternoon that the FA have rescinded a suspension for Sofiane Feghouli. The Algerian winger was sent off just 15 minutes into the match against Manchester United on Monday (January 2) for a collision with Phil Jones. dean gave the player his marching orders in controversial fashion, as JONES’ THEATRICS undoubtedly contributed towards the decision. It left the Hammers playing the remaining 75 minutes with a man less – and subsequently they went on to lose 2-0 thanks to strikes from Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Hammers vice chairman Karren Brady announced on Twitter that she was informed Feghouli will not be suspended for the next three matches. It frees him up to play against Manchester City in the FA Cup as well as Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough in the Premier League. A statement on the FA website read: “Sofiane Feghouli has had his claim of wrongful dismissal upheld today [Wednesday 4 January 2017] following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing. “The West Ham United player was sent off for serious foul play during the game against Manchester United on Monday 2 January 2017. “The standard three-match suspension has, therefore, been withdrawn with immediate effect.
I sincerely hope that something like this happens every game in favour of United, cos it's clearly evident that Stooey can't cope with this much longer and it's only a matter of time before his head explodes with rage. Boring poster Stu, I know the board is thin at times but you offer nothing, nobody noticed you had left for what, 10 months? Nobody.
