Bri, just been talking to my missus who has pernicious anemia.. fatigue & joint pain amongst other things are commonplace. Also, she has patients at work (DMH) who have special dietary requirements due to Celiac... if you want any recipes she is more than happy to get them for you. Another thing that may interest you... my daughter works in the Health Shop in Post House Wynd so again any advice you require would be easily obtainable (she gets a decent shop discount too!!!) Ps. I'm busy decorating the house at the minute... I haven't forgotten my offer to get you a coffee!!
Cheers fella, I really need to get more food savvy as I do all the cooking but I have been working on it but the more variety he better.
Sorry to hear about your lass Bri my missus had similar but it cleared up when she changed her diet I am like you and do most of the cooking the worst thing is every bloody thing seems dearer and it doesn't matter how you make bread or the ingredients its still turns out **** like some body else said best just avoid it also you can make a cracking lemon drizzel cake using half mashed potato, good luck for the future mate.
Sorry to hear this both of you keep strong and take care Shows the low level importance of football compared to real life issues
Sorry to hear about your 'better half' Brian. I'm sure with your loving care she will be fine. Please give her my best. x
Sorry to hear this Bri, my lass is into her 8 month pregnancy at the moment and she recently had a blood test and she is anemic and has to take iron. I read this is quite common with pregnancy though so we aren't worried too much although she has been so tired because of it. I really hope your good lady gets better soon fella
Yeah she mentioned it's common with pregnancy. Did everything go ok? Feel a right gimp for taking the piss out of her sleeping habits, ha! I'm always awake, she's always asleep.
Sorry about that Brian, had the grandkids over the weekend - head was done in at time of replying !!!
Bri I will start a nutrition thread, I've been thinking about it for a while. It's not for the purpose of educating you on how to eat or cook (I'm rubbish at cooking personally), just ingredients that are out there that most people overlook, and some common misconceptions. Introducing some of the ingredients daily can really make a huge difference.
