You have something in common with him..

You both steal stuff from OTIB and attempt to make it look like your own work. (including this!)

Andy is a good friend of mine and I'm sad to see that he has lost his job. Spoke with him last night and he's enthusiastic about finding a new one soon. I wish him all the best.

Lads and Landlord around the 3 Lions felt he was more than alright. Always willing to support events linked to charity, kids and anything well meaning with his links to the post.

He always got absolutely battered on OTIB and to be fair some his articles were very amateurish. I never really liked the bloke, and yet I find myself quite disappointed at this. I wonder what happened...

To be fair the Bristol Post is just a localised version of the Daily Mail so hopefully he can move onto something better and more credible.

They used to print late editions of the mail in Bristol ... past few years it has become a poor relations news paper ...EP that is .. in the 50's used to read the Evening World, and the green 'un where I lived they were delivered together on Sat evening about 7.30pm remember there being a que from about 7 as mostly kids ... used to meet early get a bag of chips and rattle on about the days results they had heard on the radio at 5pm ! not good when it rained .... but that was the spirit in them days one of the pubs had a large covered archway leading into the back of it .. it used to be rammed!
one of the best writers was Peter Godsiff?..although much later than the 50's
