    I actually meanty that the other deals would probably fall through as well since I assume we're already spending the Torres money on Carroll and Adam!

    Is a bet wetting thought alright though! Better put on my rubber pants when I go to bed tonight

    We've just broken the british transfer record at the moment - I really hope it's worth it! This has to be the most exciting january transfer period... ever?

    Also guys, let's stop worrying about money - we've got plenty to go around, and NESV are no fools. They know what they are willing to spend, and the potential benefits.

    If we sign him, he has to live with Kevin Nolan's mum. *I'm not kidding either!

    I heard we were haggling with Chelsea over some young player we want as part of the deal, don't know if it's moved on from that but could be something to keep an eye on.

    We should put a token 5m bid in for Nolan as part of the Carroll package. He'd probably do a job in midfield for us.

    Is it just me or is anyone else really excited about the Carroll deal, earlier I was well moody about it (I think that was Torres' fault) but now I'm liking the idea!! Torres is gone and I've accepted that quicker than I initially thought!!

    With Adam on the way and a few hours left perhaps a cheeky bid for Ash Young!! Please Liverpool do it! do it!

    Anyone else think Carroll isn't just a panic buy replacement?

    I bet the board have kept an eye on him for a while, and just thought while the money is here, why not use it on him?
