Also missed more 6 yard sitters than Rickie Lambert today. Carroll is a donkey and you know it.

Had the free-kick not deflected Boruc would have saved that.

That's okay Trixter, you can keep Carroll, we'll keep Lambert. No, really, that's fine.

And Lambert has still scored more over the course of the season.

He frustrated me a lot but Nolan was miles worse. He wasn't particularly dirty but he was constantly in the referees ear after every decision which got on my nerves.

West Ham used to be a footballing side, that was just awful, like watching Wimbledon 20 odd years ago without the skill. I'd give up my season ticket and go and watch Orient at least I would need a brace on my neck.

But seriously, Big Fat Sam, Appalling Pulis, and even Redcrap at Qpr are playing the Wimbledon way, and the game has moved on. It's no surprise they are all of an age, and are all English. The excuse that, 'we have to make the most of what's available' is crap.. look at Wigan to see how the game can be played with limited financial resources..

He had the best chant today! We'd all just sung the Jason Puncheon song, y'know, the one where he his allowed to defecate at a time of his choosing. Then from the crowd rises a solo voice: "He's sh*t all the time. He's sh*t all the time. Andy Carroll. He's sh*t all the time."

Absolute prick of a player - moaning, diving, just generally being a twat.

Not a fan of Kevin Nolan either.

Carroll does have some ability, but think he'll always be a hairs-trigger away from red cards & non-matchday incidents all his career. He fancies himself far too much.

Nolan is the real nasty one in that team. Did notice that he didn't try any of his tactics on Lambert though, he knows that Rickie is genuinely hard. Nolan always goes after players he knows he can wind-up.

I'm sure if Allardyce could clone Nolan, he'd have at least 10 of them in his Perfect team.

Trixter... Just a thought..... And not on the wind up I promise..... Are you happy with the approach that allerdyce takes with players such as Carroll and Nolan....? Although there are Saints players who have been average at best over the years..... Either they or the manager who employed them has generally been found out at some point..... Just wondering.....?

I agree that Carroll is truly dreadful and was really hacked off when his scuffed shot crept in but he does fit in with the rest off their team...WHU are awful and make Stoke look like Barca. At least Stoke try a d use their wingers, WHU simply pump it straight down from defence to centre forward then try and pick up the pieces.
How come Stoke get such grief from the media but WHU get congratulated on being hard to beat?

The one chant that made me burst out laughing was "Andy Carroll he looks like a horse".

Everyone's "favourite" West Ham fan on here claims it's not "hoofball" but instead "old fashioned wing play". If that's true, then they must play remarkably differently to how they did today.

Agree, Nolan was a prick from start to finish, I'm surprised that I'm surprised.
