I think when you are out for as long as Kashi has been the writing is on the wall. No doubt Thomas Driesen treated his injury using home grown herbs for the first 12 months.
Keep- Phillips Solly Pearce (c) Holmes Magennis Will be sold - Aribo Konsa Maybe RH Retire (please) - Jackson Bin - The Rest
Yep, its another summer of upheaval. Then people will stress the need for continuity as a reason to keep KR.
Rich Cawley reporting today that Simon Clark and Richie Barker are leaving Rick Everitt inventing today that Chris O'Lougjlin is the new Assistant Manager (The next progession for COL is ...)
Both Holmes and Magennis only signed two year contracts last summer, I doubt either will be too keen to extend their contracts so I imagine both will be gone in the summer. Konsa has impressed and will be sold if they get the price they want. Aribo hasn't done enough to warrant a transfer yet so he can see him staying.
I've got zero confidence in KR's ability to put together a competitive squad this summer, and expect this summer to follow the usual course. various rumours flying around during May, june July, KR complaining about other clubs wanting a good price for their players, then the trickle of loanees and rejects during August and September, accompanied by various takeover rumours.
Nope - reckon it will be an old pals act with KR. It's what he does behind the scenes and bangs on about it enough. Charlton Dons
His strategy to improve a team relegated and then having a crap season in league 1, is to fill it with players who got relegated and had a **** season in league 1 from his old club. Sacked in December.
You're still in a minority, but it's a minority of two now... I don't mind him either. Works hard, 'donkey' is a bit harsh methinks. He isn't ever going to win a game single-handed but we do need to retain some grafters as well as adding a lot more creativity. And we may be losing JJ as a player next season. A couple of older heads out on the pitch can be a good thing sometimes. He's an option if KR wants to use him. There's a long way to go before we find out what kind of first team he may or may not be part of...
If he's 4th choice as MTJ mentions then that's fine. If we have to rely on him to start 30 games a season then it puts us in a pickle. We conceded so many goals from errors in our midfield. That has to be rectified.
