We all know how he likes to use social media to stir the pot to try and engineer his moves. Did the same with Everton when they wouldn't meet his asking price. Now he's doing it with West Ham on a day Grayson publicly declared he can go but only if his asking price is met.

Knew he couldn't go long without starting to manipulate. The bloke is a complete bell end.

Yeah we're better off without him, if we're having a **** clear out we might as well do a thorough job of it. Might be naive of me but it'd be nice to think that if we got good money for him then we'd have a tiny slice of it to reinvest.

He's just doing what he news to do, within the remaining window, to get what he wants.

I've no problem with that. His agent will have control of the keyboard anyway.

He wants to go. We don't want him ( well, I don't anyway, can't speak for others), it's just another if how the industry works.

So he's a mercenary. They all are.

    Sooner he goes the better.

There's over 50 players in his agent's books, can't see em running his twitter, instagram and facebook. Sounds a bit far fetched.

I'm just pitching an angle. But a good office could run that many accounts no problem if theyve a good agenda in front of them.

I think we've seen with the cut and paste **** iOS recently that the players do indeed post on their own accounts, albeit under advice of their agents.

I think it would be a complete waste of resources personally.

I totally agree about the agents input.

I don't believe these players put out anything on social media without their agents, or their staff, having signed it off first.

Agent's prime concern is the bottom line £ sign!

They're not gonna let these kids influence or risk a penny of that. They try to control everything.

Not when you're talking serious money.

I'm sure they have teams managing their players lives, when millions are at stake.

I'm sure I just said that.

Oh, yeh the club too! They'd be daft not to <ok>

But that just confirms my earlier post doesn't it, that the player isn't in charge of their own social media output.

It doesn't confirm it though, loads of players 100% control their own social media, for players than enough have been fined for their conduct. Some of them hire people themselves to run, there are PR companies especially for it. Never hear of a club or agent having full control until you've said, I expect every club in the land has a code of conuct in regards to it but I don't buy they're fully controlling personal accounts. Players change clubs and agents all the time. Is there's some kind of hand over like with nuclear codes. Who is legally responsible for these accounts? Nah, I think players run their own unless they personally hire someone to do which plenty do. Can't see an agent being able to do anything other than advise.

Clubs have departments which help with life, ie finding their kids schools, finding property, helping them enroll in English courses stuff like that. Don't know what that has to do with personal social network accounts of players though.

Anyway, doesn't really matter. You think it's fine, fair dos. :)

Aye it was marketing and PR based, I'm sure that would have involved some management of player images etc.

Absolutely - I went to the Durham FA for a meeting and a talk by some of the staff - they all know about this forum and other forums as they employ people to read them FFS! What a job!

As for Kone - if he's still here on 1st September so be it - he had a decent game on Friday and won't be that easy to replace IMO. I'd be cup tying him tomorrow mind if I was Grayson

I'd leave this as close to deadline day as possible, if or when Southampton cave in to Liverpool's demands for Van Dijk they will need a replacement. Let West Ham and Southampton battle it out for him.

I'd also play him in every game until then to put him in the shop window!!! He signed an extension last year so we have time on our side.

Maybe, maybe not, but if there are many potential suitors it can only be a good thing for us?
