You have bet £50 that the mags wont come back up? Brave man... I think they'll piss it!

I fancy them to get over 100 points at 12/1

I certainly don't agree with the title, an excellent relegation, but despite going down, I've never looked forward to the season starting as much for years. <ok>

No, the bet is who finishes the highest by May 2018.

I figured they have to get promoted first so it was worth a punt.

Money goes to charity of the winners choice.

Ah 2018, not such a bad bet now. You are definitely in pole position with that one.

Its the chairman who sways it for me too, but I have also had some good times down on Teeside and hope that some success may alter their fans behavior, after all the spotlight on them will be greater now, and no supporters want to bring shame on their clubs. Sorry about your bet BM but my advice would be to stop gambling, its bad for your wealth. <ok>

I hope your optomism is well justified, if Rafa does as well as Chris Hughton you should be fine. <ok>

Not sure the Nags will do it......even though I thought if they had brought in Rafa earlier they would have survived I don't think he is the man to get them out the Championship. Surely for the accolades he received why didn't they do the business at Villa? They should have gone after them from the first minute....something tells me that this is going to end well for them. Miss the Nags game so I hope they do it.....but.....have my doubts....

He doesn't need to yet. Unless i misunderstand it then we still have to finish above 20th next season to have finished higher by May 2018, that is not a forgone conclusion.

At the end of the day, the mags claim that they 'won' relegation. In reality we know that they only finished third and snuck in the back door.

We've really took the bull by the horns in our relegation success and finished first.
    Winners <ok>
