What game was it last season.... Swansea away. You won 4-2.

Kyle Naughton red card, for less than Seb Larsson did.

I'm sure I remember a lot of fans on here not giving a **** cos you ran away with the three points.

    Maybe I'm imagining that.

I wonder if I find the match thread whether I'd see a lot of condemnation of M'Vila's theatrics.

But specifically what? I haven't, I've just said the United player was clever. Just cos you don't agree that doesn't make me biased.

I'm happy to move on though, it makes it much more fun on here when I'm not having to respond to your constant butthurt drivel.

You bit quick there - it was a hypothetical question - Seb was possibly rightly dismissed but if reversed a similar appeal by your team would probs have been successful.
Not a big deal really - we move on as football is full of controversial decisions and inept referees. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Watched the game and the ref was going for red card under the last man rule when Fowler claimed there was no foul so could have saved Seaman so could have been a yellow, Fowler took penalty and scored IIRC. If he had an ounce of integrity he would have rolled the ball to Seaman but we can't have that can we?

Did a Goggle search and lifted this from the mighty Liverpool Echo:

"The decision stood however and Fowler’s penalty was saved by Seaman but Jason McAteer followed up to put Liverpool 2-0 up. The game ended 2-1 on March 24, 1997."

I knew there was a goal from it regardless of the scorer so my precision memory was almost right completely. Daft part was everybody admired Fowler for his "honesty".

It was because he dived then realised it was his friend David Seaman, and tried to say that he fell to the ref. If he deliberately missed he could have been accused of match fixing.

Not sure what any of this has to do with Larsson's red card mind.

Thought some of the discussion was about player integrity of which the example I gave was a pretty good analogy, but hey-ho!
