I fully expect him to be a success mate, he's sublime technically.

This, he certainly has pedigree and it's really only a matter of how he adjusts to the physical side of our game. Of what I've seen so far he does have good body strength so I'm hoping he will.

Time will tell I guess if he can live up to what Costa has achieved. Costa on top form is almost irreplaceable.

But, he did have significant periods of not being arsed and that would only have continued if he was forced to stay next season. So I think its at least a step up on 'can't be arsed' Costa!

With no Hazard or Costa, the opening few games could make or break our title defence that's for sure.

I am confident in Pedro and/or Willian replacing Hazard to be honest.

Morata will score goals from the minute he starts playing for Chelsea he won't need time to adjust. What he'll look like after putting 90 min shifts in week in, week out could be an issue but even that's unlikely really. His anticipation is probably his weakness but that can be sorted out by a top coach and a team who focus on him being their star striker.

It'd be nice if there was something to take the piss out of with him, but there's nothing. Yet.

Given Jose likes a big, bulldozing striker I'd say it was Lukaku.

    Griezmann was first.

Because we couldn't get him, we took Rom off Conte instead.

Griezmann was a target for sure but not as a big bulldozing striker. Clubs are allowed to sign more than one attacking player. Mourinho said Ronaldo wasn't an option. I've never heard of Rodriques.

Losing out a on Lukaku has hurt you bad. It's even impacted on your memory :azn:

Did Deidre appoint you as Chelsea clown when he crawled back into his cave <laugh>

Even Bale said there had been no interest from United.

Do you still think Real are pissed off with Jose for not selling them DDG when he was manager of Chelsea?

You said Aubameyang had signed last week. What you have to say on transfers is worthless.

Lukaku made it clear he would go to Chelsea but then started ****ing him around like Madrid done with Morata. Then Lukaku went to the team he knew would dominate for years to come
