    Gabriel injured, Mertesacker injured. Kos still on holiday... but at least we bought an 18 year old from the Championship.

    Decent win that and good performance. Some nice play and good finishing. We saw a bit of the good the bad and the ugly again though, some sloppy defending and wasted chances, but overall, very good to beat a full strength City side.

    Was a mixed bag. Some really good interchanges between the forwards.

    Iwobi, Walcott and Elneny looking in good shape.

    Gibbs and Debuchy looking dodgy. Gabriel Injured. Bit worried about this defence facing a Liverpool side that beat Barca 4-0 recently.

    Monreal and Bellerin every time ! We let city get the ball across us too many times when they went off. CB is a worry now. Do we risk Koscielny ?

    Well fair enough, there were a lot of subs for both teams, but during the game City played pretty much most of their starting XI

    Good result against a good team, especially pleased with the attitude shown for the fight back and Ramsey and Alexis fitness is good. What impressed me the most was how hungry and up for it Theo looked paying as RW today. We haven't seen that in a while but it just shows shades of his best are still there and hopefully he shows it this season after a disappointing last campaign.
    Shame about Gabriel though. A new CB is a must now before the Liverpool game for sure.

    Whatever happened to flexibility? Could one of the DMs play CB? Manchester United have played Carrick there, and Barca have also played Mascherano in the same position. So fear not. There's also Chambers.
