Is he world class? Would he get in the Utd team? No. Chelsea team? No. Spurs team? No. Man City team? No. Liverpool team? No. Hell, if I had to pick between Ozil and Gylfi, I'd pick Gylfi every single time. He is not a world class player. There's a reason why the big clubs are not falling over themselves trying to sign him.
But he didn't. I don't really remember him creating any chances (maybe a header from a corner) apart from miss 3 absolute sitters to put the game to bed (when he was through on goal twice with loads of time).
Rumours Ozil has agreed a 280k a week contract. If Ozil signs up and we sign a big name or two I can see sanchez signing a new deal.
Mourinho or Pep would definitely take him. Spurs would have him instead of Eriksen. Klopp probably wouldn't as he likes pressing players and not sure about Chelsea, maybe as one of the front three as they play counter attacking with two holding players so the forwards have less defensive work.
I think Ozil is better than Gylfi, but for Swansea Gylfi is the ideal playmaker they need and they are better off with gylfi than Ozil. Gylfis set pieces (onto llorentes bonce) and set piece goals are better than Ozil and he works harder for the team than ozil. As for Ozil, i would have Silva, Cesc, Eriksen and Mkhi over Ozil. He's better than Mata though
Either you are quoting the wrong person or you've misunderstood Valleys quote. He's been dissing Ozil and laughing that a fan has rated Ozil higher than eriksen
But Gylfi scores goals, creates goals, and tackles. Ozil does none of that. He wants £350k a week for doing **** all
I rate Özil more than Eriksen. Both excellent players but I f*cking love him and a Swansea fan saying I'm wrong isn't going to change my opinion.
The stats also say Eidur Gudjohnson is a better forward then Dennis Bergkamp. I don't think anyone here would agree with that or that Fat Frank is far better than Iniesta
