I love an afternoon drink more than a night out (probably an age thing!)

    Get yourself in Grafton pal.

Proper battle cruiser is that, non of this real ale, micro brewery, craft ale nonsense.

Smiths, Carling and if you're lucky Guinness.

What more do you bastard well want?

Just took a couple of hours off to go for lunch at The Star in Sancton.

Lemon Sole in a fennel cream with clams, jersey royal potatoes, samphire and some trendy flowery things.

    None too shabby.

    Very nice.
Personally prefer Old Town in afternoon or better still cycling out to country pub when nice.

I didn't suggest for a moment that lunchtime drinking would mean you couldn't have a quick warm up at breakfast!

What's the science behind having a few in the afternoon ****ing you up?

The only way to combat it is to carry on.

They shouldn't be farting in the house just cos you're taking 40 Chazz.

Nip it in the bud now along with your Ginger Nuts.
