Anyone with an interest in next year's AFCON? The draw has now been made.
Will be nice to watch the tournament with no worries of potential injuries to our players!

    Any predictions?
Aubameyang to inspire Gabon to victory on home soil?
Cote D'Ivoire to retain the trophy?
Black Stars to end their 35 year drought? (though with their group consisting of Mali, Egypt and Uganda, I fear they may not make the knock-out stages!)

For now I'm just glad The Gambia didn't make it!!

Did Barrow play in the qualifiers then, Kwame?

Yes, he was involved in at least one qualifying fixture, but Gambia were poor and finished bottom of their qualification group. Selfishly, this pleases me but on the other hand it would be great for Mo to experience an international tournament like the AFCON. I guess all this could be avoided by holding the tournament in the European summer. I’m unsure of the exact percentage but I would guess more than 70% of players involved in the AFCON would be European based players.
