Our goal has been confirmed as our fastest league goal ever scored. Alfie Biggs goal vs Bury in the 60's was our fastest league goal scoring in 15 seconds. Step forward Byron Moore with now our clubs fastest league goal.

We have only had just 1 shot which we scored after 11 seconds.

Wimbledon have had 2 shots, 1 on and 1 off target.

    No corners to either side.

Leadbitter has gone off injured. Partington replaces him in a straight swap.

    Half time 0-0.

Even half with nothing to talk about apart from the goal after 11 seconds and the injury to Leadbitter in the 45th minute <laugh>

Everything in between has been very boring.

Teams that manage a win while playing below their best very often go on to win leagues / cups, so fellow Gasheads believe sometimes dreams do come true.
CJS if we scored a goal after 11 seconds how was the half time score 0 - 0

I was at the game. The start was unbelievable as not one AFC Wimbledon touched the ball before we went ahead! Great first-time strike from Moore from a good knock-down from Harrison, and they both had great games re work rate. Harrison's hold-up play was a standout feature of the performance.

It wasn't great for the neutral, but you have to admire the doggedness of our team as we cancelled AFC Wimbledon out and restricted them to mainly half-chances, with Lumley only having to make one serious save. Although the stats say they had more shots etc from us, our goal was rarely under serious threat. We may have scored more if the quality of our passing had been better - Lines and Sinclair were the biggest culprits.

But who cares? It's a great result and we have 63 points. Paradise!

Millwall have a tougher run-in than us. And I think Southend will drop more points than us. Easter weekend could see us edging very close to the playoffs. And the last game could be very interesting!
