Things looked so much more promising three months ago, when we played Bradford at their place at the beginning of Gobbo's reign. For the first 45 mins at Valley Parade we played our best football of this season, slick passing and moving with only poor finishing preventing a win. With hindsight, apart from a spirited away win with 10 men at Bolton, that 45 min of football at Bradford was the pinnacle of our footballing season. With Bradford contemplating promotion, and Charlton contemplating their navels, tonight should be a cracker. Pearce might have to be thrown in unless Konsa recovers from Saturday's injury, and Watt is on an undoubted roll after his 2nd goal in 30 appearances this season. Anyone on here going tonight? I'm not
Unless you live in the immediate vicinity and have a season ticket, I can't comprehend wanting to go again this season.
I once had a purple knob.... it had nothing to do with Charlton though and I never took it to an away match or talked to players with it visible
Bauer and Tex seem to really have a good understanding when it comes to attacking set pieces together, they always seem to assist one another and a lot of goals have come from them to this season, what are the strikers doing.
I'm currently sat in my living room, forced to put the subtitles on tv, because a mile and a half down the road the Portsmouth faithful have turned their lungs up to 11. I would rather sit in, and listen to a team a league below us rattle my windows then travel up to the Valley anymore. I've checked the Leicester City score more than I have the Charlton one tonight, such is my apathy at the regime. I honestly have no idea how some of you gents are coping with this drivel.
