Rumoured to be joining today. I make this 4 loanees I'm not counting Gladwin as we can't officially play him so we have space for one more? http://m.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-...-sign-Robins/story-28872414-detail/story.html
Obviously has no faith in Little or Ayling at RB. Thought LA was shocking when he came on, wasn't terrible but **** sake you could tell he'd been out for a while. Should have kept little on, was hardly having a bad game and I don't think their 2nd would of happened had he stayed on. We were linked with this guy in January. Seems like it could be a good signing, although I never have any confidence in players who have cracked it only in the Scottish leagues but he must have something about him for sunderland to splash 2m on him, wonder how much we'll have to pay if he does well?.... Just looking at his wiki, looks as though he'll want to try and get in the wales euro squad. Has 12 caps so who knows! might play out of his skin for us (although Pearce has the same argument and can't get in the team...)
Sounds promising, young and hungry and plays in a position that has proven a little bit of a concern this season. Could be a very good piece of business by LJ.
They are calling him a ' misfit ' and a ' £2m transfer flop ' here, do I smell a bit of bitterness in the air? http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...fit-heading-to-bristol-city-on-loan-1-7778550

Just had a thought - a number of goals conceeded have come from that area in the past 2 home games (with 3 different right backs) - so maybe needed this
Always expect the unexpected, after all we are Bristol City. Perhaps he can pop in 10 or more goals when he's not defending his backside off. Good luck from me because we're still not out of the woods yet and it's nice to know that SOD is available should we need him.
Well ive seen plenty of Matthews and hes far better than a decent signing. In my opinion hed be a decent signing at least for a side chasing autos not one trying to avoid relegation. Matthews is a very good quality player and if hes available id sell one of our 2 right backs (Fabio or Peltier) and bring Matthews back to Cardiff. Hes a brilliant signing for you. Hasnt only cracked it in Scotland. Played loads of games in The Championship for us and if it wasnt for Dave F in Jones he probably would still be with us. Id say this signing guarantees your safety.
Nice one Hilts but we got rave reviews from Brighton about El Abd and look what happened there. Trust your judgement on this guy and let's hope he does the business. Hi from Canada EH.
Big shout. The only reason I said he has only cracked it in Scotland was because I noticed he'd only played 40 games for you and that's when he was really young so just assumed those were sub appearances and a few one off starts. Hoping he does well and if he does it means we get to sign him come July.
But I guess neither Hunt or El Abd have played in the Champions League and marked Messi out of the game, well until he scored in the 91st Min anyway
It appears that we now have two full backs who can defend, and this guy has a decent long throw to mix it up, good signing!
