Could it be that after listening to Marco and some of the players and also reading various articles Ehab is finally realising he cocked up. I am prepared to believe that for the moment and then just see how things develop over the next few weeks. By the start of the season if it is apparent he is still messing up and dithering about then I will never give him the benefit of the doubt again.
We should know by the end of this week what's happening with MS. You won't have to wait until the start of next season.
He is obviously a good Chairman but he should be asking himself how they got relegated this season. They had so much more going for them at start of season than we did, and have seriously under- delivered. And he got timing of his managerial switch wrong.
Aside from selling up nothing, absolutely nothing, the Allam family do regarding Hull City will appease me EVER. For the avoidance of doubt they can go **** themselves, and I'd like to see them publically pitchcapped! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I had to Google that, rather unpleasant but rarely lethal, I'd go for something nastier myself, but each to their own.
I think we will be able to see what there intentions are by which manager they employ and how quick they employ him, presuming Marco leaves. If they make a quick appointment with a manager who would normally be seen to want to be in the premier league like when they employed Bruce then hopefully they will be having a go to get back up.
Does Ehab have it in him to acknowledge he ****ed up? 'I'm sorry we started the season with no manager and not enough players to make 1 sub for the first few games. I'm also sorry that we were relegated because of this oversight. I will try and get a manager in that knows his onions and leave him to manage. Also, you don't need to earn your stripes - in fact thank you for suppprting the team in circumstances that have been far from ideal for you all.'
I don't believe he has, but he might just relax some of policy. The bottom line is that a sale and good riddance to the Allams is the best outcome and any public statements would be as unbelievable as the rest.
I hope you're both right... I just can't see it happening If he waits a few weeks, there'll be 2 or 3 premier league jobs and he'll be a popular choice
Let's not kid ourselves, if he does it's because of lack of suitable offers. He's doing exactly the same as Rafa did last season.
I would have thought we'd know if Silva's staying before the weekend. They were due to have a meeting this week, if he wants to stay it should be wrapped up and announced fairly quickly. If he's not staying, I expect the news to come out after the Spurs game, I dont think he'd want all the questions about his future at the press conference. As hullinasia said, Whoever the Allams bring in to be our next manager will say a great deal about their ambitions. And to be fair to them (I understand a few cant do that), they've always tried to bring in the best manager possible. Bruce, tried for Martinez and a few others, and then Silva. I discount Phelan as Bruce brought him in and he naturally stepped up once Bruce left. I honestly believe that if Silva does go, we'll see a similar kind of manager brought in to carry on the fantastic work he started.
If I was Ehab I would offer him a top salary by championship standards and £5M bonus if he get's us up, then give hem a reasonable budget to strengthen with.
