I regret to have to report the death of my goldfish, Flash, after a short illness.

Flash, so called because of the high speed at which he swam round the tank (reminiscent of the way a certain Addicks forward sped down the pitch) was about nine years old.

He is survived by Killer, Joker and Fat Boy and was laid to rest in the River Avon.

No flowers please, donations to the PDSA.

On top of the bloody awful season we've had, this about puts the cap on it.

Absolutely gutted, and just hope it wasn't a virus.

    RIP Flash <rose>

Sorry to hear the news but the South London Press rumours suggest that you can pick up a Tuna to replace him with since the club have released one.

I'm sorry to hear this tragic news. 9 years old is a fair old bloody age for a goldfish though mate!!

I can only assume that "Fat Boy" was named after our porky central midfielder "Peter Garland".

He wasted his talent by not looking after himself. He had a great range of passing, good first touch and one hell of a dig on him. I saw him take a penalty once i i honestly thought the net was gunna break...

All together now... Big fat big fat Pete, Big fat big fat Pete, big fat Peter Garland.

Fat Boy is the Ralph Milne of goldfish, Franco - all these four were the same size when I bought them, but he just grew and grew until he's twice the size of the others - I suspect his mother was s****ed by a carp...

Thank you AllHell, you've been watching "Outlander" again, haven't you? I thought it was a dignified and natural way to lay him to rest (rather like Barbara Cartland being buried in a cardboard box in her garden) and I can always think about him every time I watch Feeesh...

TC - wonderful clip - I've only ever seen a cartoon of this. Cheers.
