Drunk 35-55 year old women hanging off you all night asking for Madonna from the 1990s even though it's a 80s party. Anyway. I saw a band at the last wedding we went to.... I swear all they were wanted for was backing to awful family singers. How people have patience for people at weddings I don't know. I think they had band who sang 3 numbers and result of time sat there while family slays took turns signing. Then they got this solo DJ up for the layers and he sounded like he thought he was at a kiddie disco... anyway the younger tarts all shouted for frozen so much he had to put that on. It was a freaking mess.
hope it was a free bar or ask for your present back in recompense. my fav was a biker one still remember drinking JD round a bonfire whilst sharing the herb as Motorhead blasted out what more could you want .
My wife's friend (military guy she was good friends with in High School) is getting married in a few weeks and had invited us. Thankfully, she has decided not to go because of kids, etc. That wedding is a formal wedding. All guests were expected to wear Tuxedos (if not military). In this day and age formal tuxedo weddings seem very selfish to me. Sure, the wedding party can pay $100 to rent a tux for night, but expecting each and every one of your guests to do the same just seems rude to me.
