606 Closure!

I am coming to the conclusion that the faster 606 closes the better. not606 has far more potential IMO we wont have to put up with Aunty style moderation for a start. 'Play nicely boys' get's a bit wearing after a time.

Every time Spurs lose we have to put up with a never ending stream of numptys and then the decent posters keep a low profile until it subsides.

I don't wish to see a lot of swearing idiots but on the other hand we are all adults (or should be) and there is a right place for 'For ****'s Sake' as we would use in a pub conversation. Plus if you are from the Salvation Army and it's all to much for you you can turn the swearing off yourself.

All in all this site offers everthing the beeb does and more, all it needs is for posters to start using it and the sooner the better. We can even stay up late if we like.

Come on Guys & Girls let's get this site kicking, why wait to be kicked out of the Beeb. They have never taken our views into consideration and do not deserve our loyalty.

I've given up with 606. The amount of WUM articles we get per day is ****ing pathetic. The mod's do a shocking job ad have already gone on holiday, unless someone posts an article criticising a ref, after which it's taken down before you've posted it.

This site should take off when 606 closes. I, like many have given up on 606. It's time to mention it to other posters on 606.

I haven't had a good look round yet, is this the site where you can block users from seeing their comments, therefore killing off WUM's?

Evening Triffic, yeah I think you can organise an ignore button to block a particular poster from your sight. The Colonel can explain it I think.

The difference is that here you can 'ignore' WUM's; block their posts so that they don't appear on the board.

Emoticons are very much the same as 606, I believe.

If not, go to "Go advanced" down by the bottom of the reply box.

 

Another tip is clicking on the More link and copying the URL into another tab on your browser, for quick reference

This site is fine for mindless childish banter, this one is better if you actually want to engage in decent football chat!
