    Can we get it?

I think we will, Sherwood is imploding and Moyes' United is, well, just that.

I think it's be a good achievement this season if we do considering the change we have had to go through in Roberto's first season, back in Europe and on the up and up.

We need to start doing better in the road again though, I know we've had some though fixtures away recently but we need to pick up. Newcastle & Fulham away after Swansea, Shouldn't be looking for any less than 7 points from those 3.

It's ours to lose now mate. 2 points behind Spurs but with 2 games in hand and they're at Anfield next week, so if we play at our peak we should comfortably make 5th.

You are currently very slightly behind Spurs in odds but have better home form and overall form

You're right that the away form is a problem with just 1 win in the last 6 but that can only get better

If Arsenal had lost to Spurs I would have even said 4th is possible

4th is still not beyond us. Arsenal have to play Chelsea and City, before they visit Goodison in the first week in April. We'd need to beat them to stand any chance, but it's not beyond hope yet.

Not beyond hope but it could have been in your hands to overtake them at Goodison if they'd lost to Spurs

But if Spurs had beaten them they'd have been 5 points ahead of us with the momentum that a derby win would have given them.....

We're rank outsiders for the top 4, but equally the pressure is off us, as it stands.

I'm assuming Spurs would have just collapsed later anyway. They are playing terrible football so in the long term taking points off Arsenal would have been a good result for you.

I'd put you as slight favourites for fifth over Spurs at the moment. However, as Tobes says, you could conceivably nick fourth from Arsenal. It's a long shot, but you should definitely aim for it! <ok>

4th is well gone. Arsenal aren't going to do their implosion this year. Their last 3 matches have been Arsenal 4-1 Everton, Bayern 1-1 Arsenal and Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal. They might hit a bumpy patch but they've got a comfortable gap.

You don't get any points for FA Cup wins

Bayern had already won and missed a penalty

Spurs out-bottled Arsenal within 2 minutes and then Arsenal did **** all for the next 92

Nine games left, plenty of turns and twists left. You could still get fourth from Arsenal OR us. You could still get sixth (unlikely). But fifth is yours to lose, fourth is ours or Arsenal to lose, and the title is Chelsea's or City's to lose. Which is fantastic - it's usually all over by the end of March!

And you pal, I'd give you some rep but it says I've got to spread it around a little first!

Then again, looks like you don't need it! Gone are the days of me trying to get you and Tobes in the green :smiley-finger007:

    Still not convinced.

Beat Swansea (H) Fulham (A) and Newcastle (A) then we might have a shot.

Overall this weekend was good for Everton's CL hopes. The bookies cut their odds a bit after the last minute Spurs winner but Everton's 2 games in hand still give them more hope than Spurs.
