Some real dick in hand posts. Good to see the remoaners phrase knocking around. I was worried we stopped putting labels on those that don't necessarily agree with some of the points. PHEW
An equally bad day for gauche 20- somethings, who's only positive experience of the EU was that cheap Latvian brass
Easy Bill, because you still have idiots like Tim Farron who think they can ignore public opinion and just re-join the EU at a later date, we must make sure that that bridge is well and truly burnt!
What's your thoughts on the broken promise regarding the NHS funding? No deflections or clever quips, a genuine opinion/answer.
I don't believe it was a broken promise. The Out Campaign were making an illustrative point - that the £350m a week we pay to the EU *would* be better spent on the NHS. That is would as in Sergio Aguero would be a better striking option for Charlton than Lee Novak.
The mistake was that some people on the Out campaign mistook the illustrative point about what we could do with that £350m and went on to mistakenly say it would go to the NHS. I can assure you that it was never a policy that the money we waste on helping Latvian farmers grow straight bananas would go on the NHS.
Some influential people ''mistook'' or lied. We've voted out and I can accept that - that's democracy. However, the blatant lies on issues regarding the NHS isn't something I'll forgive or forget. Not that Farage, Gove, May et all give a ****.
The pound did go down significantly to be fair. We also have to wait to see how that plays out - I don't foresee a crash, but don't imagine it's going to be plane sailing.
The SNP said that the last Scotch Independence Referendum was a once in a lifetime opportunity! Obviously the life expectancy in Scotland is about 4 years?
The Stock Market is buoyant & business confidence is sky high since Brexit. The market is talking & it likes what the Govt is doing.
