Alarming that out of 15 seasons in the premier league, 30% of Boro's revenue came from one season. That and the fact next year Burnley will have almost the same total PL revenue as Blackburn, having completed 14 less seasons...
Money is ruining the game encouraging all these foreign owners to invest to try and make a quick buck. Gone are the days of good honest British owners like Lloyd, Hinchcliffe, Buchanan etc

Look at Luton and Notts C, relegated from Div 1 the year before the PL started, and look where they are now. Who knows, with a twist of fate if they had stayed up another season....
