It took City a number of years of obscene spending before they won a title but we all knew it was coming. United is spending even more obscenely, it's only a matter of time before they win. Money doesn't guarantee a title, but it sure as hell does push you in the right direction and improves your odds. They will win again this decade.
That gives them 3 seasons.....hmmm.....I don't think they will in that time. One, I think they need to jettison Mourinho. Two, we have the massive spending power of Chelsea and Citeh also, Three, Spurs and LFC are on the up. Its going to be tough for MU over the coming years, there is stiff competition now
If United had the manager from any of the top 4 teams, I think they would have won with their current squad. I agree they need to dump Jose, they probably will by October after another bad start. 18/19 with the squad they have + 500 mill in transfers between then and now. I imagine they would be favourites to win. United finishing 6th was the best result. Any lower and Jose would be out the door already. He met the minimum threshold to not get the kick.

I think Willhill are about right. With our current squad I think we will be 6th. Arsenal didn't get champions league, but have had a better summer and utd have thrown so much sh!t some of it is bound to stick in typical Mourinho fashion. The top 3 from last season will be the same, but maybe a different order
I think it will be different this year. With Spurs (or Chelsea) being replaced by the mancs I fear. I think we will do well to finish top 4 again. If we lose Coutinho I think we are looking at 6th or 5th. We should be making further progress under Klopp but I think he and the team will have their work cut out after the massive spending by the others.

Id make Liverpool about 33/1, 50/1 without Klopp. Look a million miles off challenging imo, Salah is a great signing but the first 11 is nowhere near good enough and Klopp needs a fortune to spend.

Lfc odds still way to short... are only reflective of cash put down Arsenals odds look long tbh... Its very clesr thoigh the money is following the expectation that this is a straight manc fight
And Spurs'... They are still solid and had been runner's up or thereabouts. If they focus on the league (which they surely will as usual) they have a good chance. As long as they manage to overcome their Wembley fright...
