Spuds seem like a good E/W punt at 14/1 to me. Some value in that price** **assuming Potch treats the Europa like he did last year
they will blow up by the end. they always do. 14/1 is decent but i'd be greedy and want longer odds from where they are right now.
More risky than stock market though. if I had some spare money I would gamble a proportion not a lot. To compare with shares, I would probably go for the 1 to 25 I would get for Chelsea getting into top 4.
Title odds after weekend games. Chelsea 8/11 Liverpool 6/1 Tottenham 7/1 Arsenal 11/1 Manchester city 12/1 Manchester united 16/1
Best Price title odds. Chelsea 4/6 Liverpool 13/2 Tottenham 15/2 Arsenal 12/1 Manchester City 16/1 Manchester United 22/1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winner
Wenger Trophy. Chelsea 1/25 Liverpool 1/3 Tottenham 1/2 Arsenal 4/6 Manchester City 4/6 Manchester United 6/4 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-4-finish
They're good odds but I wouldn't say tempting. You'd need to believe they'll win it for it to be tempting!
Odds before this midweek round of games. For those optimistic souls that still believe in a title shot get your money on now. Title odds. Bookies think it's all over pretty much. Best Price title odds. Chelsea 3/10 Spurs and City 12/1 Liverpool and Arsenal 20/1 Manchester United 50/1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winnner
For what it's worth. Chelsea are are a shoe-in with the bookies, with Spurs and City as outsiders and the rest nowhere (and a note to the big swede, that includes you too!!) Best Price title odds. Chelsea 1/7 City 14/1 Spurs 16/1 Arsenal 66/1 Liverpool 70/1 Manchester United 80/1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winnner
This is the interesting market now: Wenger Trophy. Chelsea 1/100 Spurs and City 1/4 Liverpool Evens Arsenal 11/10 Manchester United 5/4 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-4-finish
WOW.... evens on us and city 1/4.... this is some interesting odds. I would not have any faith in LFc finishing above arsenal so that's what these odds marginally suggest. given the spread form even 2 to 6th being a total of 5 points and given the fact that LFc are 4 points behind spurs and 1 ahead of utd I'd say there is ZERO value in these. I couldn't and would not put money on city at 1/4. even chosing between arsenal, city and utd as a 2 from 3 effort is too hard right now.
70/1 actually decent odds. I obviously don't think we're going to win but I think we have better than a 1 in 70 chance. Now that Mane is back, if we recovered from slump to how we were before and Chelsea had a similar slump (not impossible). If Scotty were in the USS Liverpool engine room and said he "dinna think wer gonna make it" you could guarantee we'd win the Premier League from here.
They are generous but so are Utd's and Arsenal and for good reason TBH. No way a team as inconsistent as Liverpool with poor squad depth and defensive frailities are coming from that far back and passing 4 teams. 2nd is doable but Chelsea are too good and solid with lots of title winning experience.to chuck this way.
I've said Man City will without doubt be in the top four. They had slump but they do that every season. When was the last time Arsenal finished outside the top four? I actually think Arsenal have the best squad on paper, they've certainly got the start players in Sanchez and Ozil. If they did fail to get top fourteen four, Wenger will be gone. I think the last spot is between Spurs, Liverpool and Man Utd. We've been in shocking form but we're now back to fill strength and one game per week, I think we're about to go on a good run again #famouslastwords
