Come to think of it, cash + Donnarumma + Bertolacci would suffice from Milan. Well the hacks did say we'd be signing a new goalkeeper, which they somehow believe means Pau Lopez's loan won't be made permanent...
Here's something strange: while Sissoko has an agent, nobody knows who it is. Whenever his agent gives a statement to the press, they (or their agency) is never named.
I think it's Mondial Sports Management, but you're right, they're never actually mentioned in stories about him. That is a bit odd, isn't it?
The weird one is Eden Hazard, who it was claimed back in 2015 didn't even have an agent...so who is this agent who speaks on his behalf to the press?
I'd suggest that, like Adrien Rabiot, it might be his mother - but I doubt any self-respecting parent would want their son hanging around with John Terry and Diego Costa.
Keep finding the gems and pay big wages to retain the core of your players and the title will come eventually . Keeping the net spending down and paying big wages is the way for the Spurs IMO
In today's piece of joined-up journalism, we're battling with Watford to sign Inter defender Jeison Murillo (just like we were in January...) with Murillo looking to move after a bad case of second season syndrome. Can somebody please explain to me why Italian sources are convinced we want to sign a centre back, any centre back, from Inter? As well as Murillo, we've also been linked with Andrea Ranocchia this season - and we were so interested in him that we shrugged our shoulders when he joined Hull on loan, and later sighed with relief at dodging that particular bullet when he went on his one man mission to make sure Hull got relegated against Palace on Sunday.
I'm going to assume those right questions are along the lines of "What are the chances I pass Ross Barkley en route?" https://sport.sfr.fr/football/premi...-bonnes-questions-apres-la-fin-de-saison.html
The Fail is reporting that Poch would like to buy back Siggy from Swansea , I think he would be welcomed back to the Lane and would be a great asset for next season
Good play...would improve our set pieces would provide back up and competition to Eriksen and is imho better than Barkley by a country mile.
Hack talk is that Defoe wants 100K/week + 6m signing fee wherever he goes. Hatchet job or Adebayoritus has spread north ??
Today's nothing story: Kevin Gameiro, Atletico Madrid's thirty year-old striker who only signed for them last summer, who earns £125k a week. Move along, nothing to see here.
Would love to see Siggy back, but not sure about £25m. Think he would add the above plus valuable international experience, but wouldn't be a regular starter, so it's whether he would be happy not to be a big(ish) fish in a small pond. £15m maybe even £20m at a push would definitely be worth a punt, but not to be disrespectful to either Siggy or the Swans. He is only 27, so I imagine he could still attract big-bucks elsewhere!
I'd have Gylfi back all day long, however I must admit I don't think we're the best club for him, he'd be coming back in pretty much an identical role from what he left - a valued squad member but not a regular starter. Eriksen was partly the reason we sold Gylfi, so it wouldn't make much sense for him to come back while Eriksen is still here. That said, if he does return, it's an excellent addition. At £25m, I'd take that all day long, £25m is the going rate for even a "decent" player, let alone a good one like Gylfi. Can't see Swansea accepting that though, someone will surely be willing to offer £30m+ for him.
Sport ES are reporting that Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde will be the new Barca manager. I guess the Express will have to try super duper extra hard next time they link Poch with another club, eh?
