Wimmer's posts on social media certainly indicate that he is more than happy at the club and excited for the season to start. Miles away from certain other players who haven't been included in pre season plans due to 'not being in the right frame of mind' (I mean FFS, I'd love to see my boss' reaction if I just didn't bother turning up at work one day and tried that as my excuse "Yes terribly sorry sir but i bought a suit at the weekend and already wore it and on my way to work I passed a Moss Bros and saw the same suit for £75 cheaper and now I'm afraid I'm just too distraught to face the challenges of the day, so if you need me I'll be in bed consoling myself with a tub of ice cream and whale music" ) A loan for KWP is surely the most sensible option at this point unless he particularly enjoys being thrown very quickly into very deep water.
He's only just 27 - same as Kyle Walker. Two Yorkshire full backs and two Belgium centre backs was the recipe for the best defence in the PL last season. Same goes for making chocolate.
1. I suppose the Mousers will be telling us they were tracking him first and we are copying them. 2. Smell the Chelsky fear. 3. Wot, no attempted hijacking bid yet by the Spanners ??
Odd indeed, but basing on previous seasons he will end up being their busiest player. The Mariners has been poor for about 2-3 seasons and have had a huge turnover of playing and coaching staff
Connor Ogilvie scored for the Gills tonight and has been getting rave reviews in pre season - The mighty Belgians from Patro Eisden were the opposition tonight.
All of whom will be bidding more. Levy has announced today that any Spurs spending will be limited to the new stadium and not on transfers. Is Glen Johnson available on a free?
Ahhh...thought I missed something about Spurs players. Completely agreed with your original post by the way.

Fascinated to hear how you have arrived at those conclusions from: "We have to find the right balance but I can honestly say it is not impacting us on transfer activity because we are not yet in a place where we have found a player that we want to buy who we cannot afford to buy." "Our position on transfers is that we have a coach who very much believes in the academy, so unless we can find a player that makes a difference we would rather give one of our young academy players a chance." "The academy is important because if we produce our own players we don't have to spend £20m or £30m on a player." All Levy has said is that we would rather give academy players a chance as they care more for the club and don't cost anything, and that we don't have a hope of competing with those who spend hundreds of millions every transfer window, but that if we find a player within our budget who can make a difference to the squad, the construction of the stadium will not affect our ability to pursue and sign said player. So, in brief: We're continuing with the same philosophy we've had for the past 13 years. Nothing to see here, not even for your scholarly erudition Diego.
Levy doesn't speak often. When he does, he's not ambiguous. You don't know him very well if you think he's made a statement for any other reason than he wants to send out a specific message. His comments mean: "We aren't spending any money because we need it all for the stadium."
