It will be a very popular home shirt but I have to say the away shirt is pretty cool - the best for many years. Training gear is OK - will probably grow on me. I like the monochrome club crests but always saw the training gear as an economic alternative to the replica shirt. The price hike this year (on training gear) has brought them more into line with team shirts so I doubt they will sell that well.
I'm 42. 5ft 11 and normally buy a small I even have an England shirt that confuses the missus as it is a LB. Nice and tight on me, loose on the boys. I should add that I am probably a similar build to you. That M on you is much looser than I like to wear. I prefer fitted but not tight.
I got no chance with the kit. Being 6ft5 I would have to buy the biggest size and look like I was wearing a dress.
Best kit was the one a few years ago that was made in house when Cortese ****ed off Adidas, that fitted me well. Everything else looks ridiculous
Just in case it's helpful to anyone.... I went to the club shop today to enquire about the purple/pink goalkeepers shirt pictured with the away kit-my nipper loves it but not seen it on sale yet or on website. The store manager came and explained that they have to offer 2 gk kits under PL rules, but they can't see any games they will have to use anything other than the green one. As it stands, the club won't be releasing a £50 shirt that might be used once. It's a shame but fair play to the bloke for explaining to me.... hope it helps.. UTS....
I got mine Friday, ordered large and it fits a treat. I was pretty pleased with the sizing to be honest. I'm a smidge under 6' and about 42" chest so I guess I must be fairly standard build.
Didn't bother them when they released the white pinstripe one then decided to use the yellow one from the year before instead.
I'm 5'10", and 140-145 lbs. I'd be a medium for anything on this side of the water...guessing it'd be the same for the shirts?
Mine arrived on release day. Obviously I love the style but i must say that the fabric is of significantly lower quality than any other replica shirt I've ever bought. Good job we don't use them for two seasons any more.
A wee bit more generous Fats. I need an XL to accommodate my shoulders but where they are usually still snug around the torso, this one has a wee bit of fabric left to flap around. Nothing a few donuts won't fix though.
