Phil Neville thinks Man Utd will win the Premier League.

So presumably he will not have a super happy fun time if Man Utd fail to get at least top four.

Let's see what these require based on current performance...

Can you not do 4th at 80 points and be realistic about.

 

This is based on this actual season not an arbitrary number

Doesn't matter if Man Utd get 80 points if 5 other teams get 81

 

I will let you in a little secret. 4th will be 70 plus or minus 3 points not 81.

The fact is to get 41 from 24 (to get 70) is not so unrealistic as to allow you claim its impossible

 

If/when 4th place drops off the pace the stats will adjust to reflect that

Maybe by then Man Utd will have dropped so many points it doesn't matter

 

History shows where 4th is normally ever year irrespective of this early form.

You could turn this round and say if utd didnt get 70 then whoever is ahead of them only needs 70 and anything else they get is irrelevant.

 

If in the run-in 4th place decides to play kids and settle for 75 points because their position is so safe then that doesn't help Man Utd

 

City and spurs can chase the euro cups by doing this.

Arsenal will implode in February as usual. so.... it's going to happen.

You should give probability of every out come. people give odds for each team finishing 4th.

 

Maybe Man Utd will write off the league knowing the EL is their only hope of saving the adidas sponsorship money
