Astro has the unfortunate problem of enjoying looking at a league table (and stats) but never watching football. It can be confusing for the poor soul :(

Funny that Jose did not celebrate the first goal. Scored too early and expecting an equaliser? He did the second though.

Not very confident of his defence is he? <whistle>

Jose Mourinho: Man Utd can do better than fourth place
Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United can do better than fourth place in the Premier League, but says he does not wish to set a definitive target this season.
Mourinho's United are currently in sixth place after three straight wins, four points off the top four as they enter the busy Christmas period.
They finished outside of the Champions League places under Louis van Gaal last term, and Mourinho says he does not wish to make fourth a target, insisting his side can achieve more than that despite the tough competition
In an interview with Sky Sports News HQ, he said: "For me to be happy, it's an accumulation of factors. For me to be happy is the way we end the season playing, the evolution of the team, the empathy with the supporters, the results in many different competitions we are playing.
"So let's see where we finish, I don't want to say fourth, because I think we can do better than fourth
"But we have the risk of not finishing fourth because the competition is so hard and the top teams have the same ambitions as we have. So I don't want to say fourth or third or fifth."
Mourinho has endured a mixed opening five months to his time at Old Trafford, but looks to have found the formula for success in the last three games.
However, the 53-year-old says his side never deviated too far from their principles when things weren't going according to plan earlier in the season

Mourinho is absolutely #desperate to increase the payout he gets when sacked and is lobbying hard for a contract extension

Probably knows two massive failures in a row won't get him another big job

This is why he's been chatting so much **** about Man Utd playing well despite their football still being abysmal

True: He may be seeking a longer contract to make his position more secure and to get more money should he be sacked.

But tbf the mancs have improved over the season. They seem to have moved away from LVG 's abysmal boring football :bandit:

Ultimately their fans will be more interested in the football: the wins, the results, the style rather than the point or goals per £million spent.

Wenger is not a good example as he has been awful lately and pilloried by his own fans for his passionless displays. If van gaal is one extreme and Klopp is the other then I would agree that he is currently above vg and well below Klopp in terms of performance.

I thought he was going for first? Didn't he say he was the only one who would say he's out to win it? Why didn't the journalist pull him up on this?

    As RHC said: ****er

Cracking cup tie - Chelsea v Man U - in prospect. The premiership vs the championship/non league ties were getting a bit predictable and the other ties look like foregone conclusions.

Chelsea shouldnt complain as they have such a lead in the premiership. They deserve a less easy tie than the others. Really competitive FA cup this season as the big guns are still in.

    Pathetic excuse making by Mourinho

When Man Utd lose it's only because Chelsea have nothing else except the FA Cup and PL to focus on

Klopp's guaranteed to win nothing this season. To be fair @astro never rated him.
