Fabregas has a lot to learn. If he can just work out how to pass to people who don't score he'll be nearly as good as Pogba.

Everton is also in Europe, though not CL. They were unable to get a draw from 10 men Arsenal.

Alexis Sanchez is very demanding and difficult to manage at Arsenal, says Martin Keown
Martin Keown has claimed Alexis Sanchez as "difficult to manage" and "very demanding" at Arsenal.
Arsenal have endured a difficult season, finishing fifth in the Premier League table and yet another round-of-16 exit from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
Having scored 24 goals and assisted 10 this season, Sanchez has been the standout performer for the Gunners despite a string of on-pitch disappointments in north London and increased pressure on Arsene Wenger.
Although the ex-Barcelona man is a fan favourite, former Arsenal defender Keown says Sanchez is "demanding" behind the scenes.
He said: “I think he's a difficult man to manage.
“I did turn up at the training ground once - and it was one of his days off but he suddenly turned up and he was bouncing around the training pitch.”
“They were having to facilitate him and put a training session on for him. That can be a good thing but he's a very demanding individual.”

Sanchez is a winner - of course he will demand more from those around him. If people don't like that, then they aren't fit to be at a big club.

What a crock. He's trying to suger coat the bitter pill that their best player is leaving.

Thy guy has high standards and expectations which why he is leaving Arsenal. Will probably end up a Bayern winning titles and competing at the sharp end of the CL.
He can always watch le arse on the telly on Thursday nights.

Without him, they'd of been fighting Everton for 6/7th

How about: "Four Knockout Rounds That Do Not Really Count Followed By Eight Champions Leagues Followed By Four Knockout Rounds That Definitely Do Count"

Or shall we just stick with "Champions League"?

There are nine rounds in the Champions League and only one stage is actually in a league format! What on earth were UEFA thinking of?
I think PJ should write to them and roundly chastise them for their sloppy approach to nomenclature.

I remember plenty of Kopites saying that we never made it to the CL after losing in the qualifier.

    Seems that now doesn't apply.

    They were probably just WUMs

"Everton cursed a controversial late decision by referee Pieluigi Collina as they crashed out of the Champions League 4-2 on aggregate to Villarreal."

We got in for the qualifiersbecause United were excellent in a cup. Liverpool got in for the qualifiers because United were terrible in the league.

So we both have Jose to thank for not fully qualifying

    correction.

you got in cos arsenal and cheslea got to fa cup final AND utd won the league cup.

We got 4th cos we got more points that arsenal usually do (PHACKT) and utd didn't win the league strangely. I think you'll find your wummery would be more effective if we'd got 66 points not 76 in this regard. 75 points for arsenal is a record for a team not to get cl QUALIFIERS :) in the prem :)
