After their #heroic performance at Anfield, Jose responded to the critics by saying that we played defensive football.

"We were the team that attacked and Liverpool were the team that defended. Let's see if the critics are fair."

We only had the 13 chances to their 9. <laugh>

I can see why they gave Fellatio a new contract and let an actual football player like Schneiderlin leave. <ok>

but you're chances were **** compared to theirs. It's like saying City dominated you at Liverpool when you won 1-0 cause they had 11 shots to your 6. Obviously that is not true :p.

Didn't watch the match but from the sounds of things, it was a pretty cagey game which no side controlled. However, their chances were far better than yours whereby Mignolet had to save your arses far more than de gea.

Nah my point is that they're trying to make out that we went for the same approach as they did at Anfield, when they had one **** header on goal. This game was pretty end to end and we could have easily doubled our lead with the amount of times we attacked. But as you said, our finishing was poor.

I would saythat after HT Utd controlled more.

We won the first half handily. they were not in it in possession nor chances at all.

They won the second half with more possession cos players like can cannot make a simle 5 yard pass. Wijnaldum had two glorious chances to win it. they on the other hand had a couple better chances.

I actually thought they failed to take advantages of TAA at all and I felt then we didn't react to the donkey they threw on as we simply were too narrow on the right and didn't cut out the crosses form valencia as milner was too over loaded.

Mata being on the "left" meant Taa never had to worry again that half.

Exciting match but poor in quality. Sure with many of our key players missing we couldn't have expected much more.

The reality is that neither we or the mancs have nothing to shout about this morning. The people most happy will be Chelsea and Spurs.

Already pointed out Lukaku is free to boost his individual stats to his heart's content (including attempted robbery of Davies) now that Everton are out of every competition <cheers>

To be fair lucky needs to get close enough to 20 goals before switching it off to reduce the fee in the summer again.

Theres no chance of a bid this january unless cheslea want him for some reason ahem :) so he will be focused on making up stories this summer about him leaving so his name is never out of the press and such.

His manager is already telling him to get out to fund the stadium fulfill his potential, so a tweet from Moshiri saying he's no longer part of the Everton family isn't far off <ok>

Can't say I noticed that - looked to me like he made every effort to get something on it.
In Lucky's defence, I'd say it's a striker's instinct to do that, make sure it goes in then debate it later.
As you say, fully deserved goal for Davies though.

First really serious challenge for pep. That guy in Sky " Guillain Ballague" (wrong spelling) expert on La liga tried to defend him as a great manager and saying without batting an eyelid that La liga is significantly more competitive than the premiership.
