Have to say I think Lewis tossing the 2nd place cap to Nico was a little ott , but Nico's reaction on the podium was utterly , utterly childish !. Pathetic even .
I apologize if I offenses, but the comment was in response to a very distasteful post...is it a sin to have kids like Hamilton who worked had to be successful at his craft and is good at it? Another thing, all the people who are harping on the incident in the first corner with Rosberg and Hamilton are some of the same that are saying they love that race because of the thrills and spills..you can't have it both ways can you?
WTF are you on about? I have never said anything of the sort - are you accusing me also of being a racist? You were the one who resorted to lowering the tone my friend - nobody else. I would however be mortified if you we a member of my family. My original post was to reiterate Nico's weakness, and I responded to your post re-clarifying it - your just so full of blind fantisism you can't understand the content. Even when posters dont slate him you twist and turn it - you are deluded and you operate with an alternative motive. This has been one of the most constructive debates, discussing Lewis's advantages over his direct rival, the flawed rules and the makings of a stand out champion. Yet you throw unsubstantiated accusations at people and have the temerity to claim the moral high ground - absolutely shocking! No wonder Lewis fans are wrongly type cast. Mods - You need to deal with this - Cosi warned and was right.
I know I say a lot of **** which probably makes me sound like a grumpy old man on here, but I didn't expect such an overreaction from this of all my posts!
I think you meant it the other way round but I found the cricket/baseball analogy amusing because Hamilton is the ultimate flat track bully. To have some interest next year we need to hope Hamilton gets off to a poor/unlucky start. Over the last two years we've learned that the media will allow Hamilton to aggressively defend a lead, but not Rosberg. If Rosberg can steel himself against that and somehow keep his drive he might have a slim chance of making it interesting. Seems unlikely though.
Disagree. To make it interesting, the likes of Rosberg, Ferrari etc need to up their game and give him a genuine challenge. They can't rely on someone else's bad luck to win championships.
I've often wondered if that is just the British press or not? But I fully agree, Lewis tried this stuff against Massa in the past and it took a few accidents for him to learn he couldn't bully him, and I'm sorry to say for Nico, it's going to take the same. I don't think Mercedes will accept that, and even is Nico is in the right, he will get sacked. Did you see their faces when Nico went off track and Lewis took the lead?
I agree 100% - I've commented several times on the facial expressions of ToTo and Lauda on multiple occasions - a picture does say a thousand words.
Smithers, I didn't accused you of saying that...I wanted to know if you supported that sort of thing too. di Fredsta! is the one who made the comment and I thought it was out of place, but no one told him he shouldn't make comments like that..but fine..it's ok. This is what di Fredista said: I think it's fair to say that he's not only a bad loser, but he's also a terrible winner. I'd be embarrassed to have kids anything like him! And in response I asked a question. I didn't accuse him of anything..I asked a question.
Anyway Smithers, I respect you and I also respect your views because you are quite knowledgeable about F1, so I really, honestly respect your views. If I offended you or any other poster, as I think I might have done, I sincerely apologise. I hope you accept my apology.
