apparently this was not heard on the SKY coverage so Its led to believe it may actually be EJ that said 'I hate you'
It sounded like EJ saying it to someone who had played some sort of prank on him, at least it did to me.
Jean Todt: "Do you realise that the number of people killed in road accidents is by far bigger than the number of people who died in Paris yesterday?"
Did he really say that????????? Gob smacked if he did...... While it may be true one group died by accident the others by an organisation who wanted to kill as many people as possible!
Surely it should be "Bernie Eccelstone was quoted as saying................" Sounds more like something the savage dwarf would say. Todt never speaks about anything.
Just back on home turf and not aware of Todt's alleged comment. It would be good to have a link to the source if and when such incidents occur. In the mean time, I'll fan the flames a little by expressing the general opinion that the toad in Bernie's pocket does not speak up often enough, and when it does, it might as well not have. On the rare occasions croaks are heard, they seem of little import or consequence, merely adding to the perception that sounds emanating from under stones are not worth listening to. But of course, this was why he got the job… When Max Mosley departed, Ari Vatenen was the best choice from an independant sporting perspective and would have been much better for F1 than someone with an unhealthy (almost incestuous) allegiance to the most influential team: that which has always been Bernie's favourite. Vatenen – a forthright man of considerable integrity – would have been far less easily subdued.
awww here you go then (I was keeping it for myself)....: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mo...-attacks-holds-him-and-F1-up-to-ridicule.html
Thanks, Bando. Somehow I missed this huge gaffe; but I'm pleased to see The Telegraph's journalist has reiterated my view of Todt as an ineffective puppet. What a numb-skull. All too tragically true, Ern…
Is Todt campaigning to make driving illegal or the just being an idiot bit? ...Because if it's the latter, he's guilty as charged m' lud!
Well, he's achieved his main safety goal in F1 of preventing racing - just waiting for him to put speed cameras (sorry safety cameras) down the main straight, chevrons and solar powered slow down signs at the hairpins, rumble strips at the pit entry and sleeping policeman down the pitlane. Job done.
It is breathtakingly idiotic: how can anyone with any intelligence manage to conflate "accidents" with an atrocious act of terror in the first place, let alone think it appropriate to voice it publicly? It beggars belief.
I didn't know that Australian's got our coverage. It seems like aren't happy with the Lewis Hamilton show that Sky has become. It's an interesting article, well worth a read. http://www.theroar.com.au/2015/11/18/formula-ones-hamilton-centric-media-coverage-must-end-now/
