I was thinking this earlier. I actually question whether Jose's buying him to partner Smalling.... or replace him.

The other thing is, if we have Smalling and Bailly at the back, where's the leader in our defence? Another reason why I question the above. I have a feeling there's a more seasoned CB (a leader) to come in.

No other defender atm. But Morata and Pogba getting a lot of airtime. A lot of bullshit names going to be spouted about tbh.

Its only going to get worse with all the TV money, a lot of foreign players trying to feign interest just to increase their wages a la Ronaldo flirting with Man Utd when we all know he'd have no intention of stepping down from the biggest club in the world to one fighting for a top 4 spot. Morata wouldn't surprise me but I'm not sure he's worth all this interest because despite his habit of scoring in big games his overall record is actually pretty average at Juventus (under 1 goal every 4 appearances in the league).

Morata and Ibrahimovic makes no sense.

Pogba is a perennial whore every window. His contract at Juventus must be ****.

Or fantastic because he gets it topped up every time he looks interested in leaving (like Ronaldo and Rooney) <ok>

It's been a tough season for you hasn't it Lucaaas <laugh> Yes I'm sure there will be another Ramos there somewhere manouevering for a bigger wage, but I would prefer us to go traditional and pay big bucks for players who aren't superstars but are proven or scouted as something special e.g. Ronaldo

Better than us England fans. We went from thinking we'll win every tournament to thinking we won't win **** all!

The dampened expectations are probably good for England in the sense that you won't have huge unrealistic expectations weighing you down. The way Roy has been setting you up in the pre tournament friendlies is the wrong way to go though. He needs to choose a partnership out of Kane/Vardy, Kane/Rooney or Rooney/Vardy and stick with it. I don't think you can have 3 of these players in the starting XI but I can see Roy trying to shoehorn them all in and it ending up in disaster a la almost every other English campaign over the last 20 years.

That's just age and experience mate. The younger generations (and media) still think we'll win every tournament <doh>
