I'm amazed to discover that John Mensah is still playing! Plays for AFC United in the Swedish 2nd league.

    You've gone for Mensah!

Just didn't play enough for me for us, but yes mate, he was a class player.

I was going to say I think you're being a bit harsh but I can't fathom a Sunderland fan going on the Newcastle board and saying "haway the Toon".

You've got being polite, then there's looking for acceptance, then sucking up, then roughly five levels higher than that you've got "haway the Toon".

So did I, I tend to assume that everybody who posts on here long term and claims to be Sunderland is one of us because I can't imagine anyone being sad enough to waste their time being a wum for that long. Doesn't take long before the joke's on you if that's your game. Not you obviously.

Craddock and Thome, almost went for Bould as remember him being class as well despite his age. Loved Craddock, seemed a proper footballer from quite young and Thome added something different I thought, can't quite remember what it was though haha :emoticon-0111-blush

I knew it began with an H!

Bugger off Comm, I'm full of Guinness mate.

Though to be fair, he hasn't been on here for ages! I'm amazed I remembered him!

I hope that bar he set up is still going strong! He posted some great pictures and I thought the name of his pub was great.

Interesting votes. Wouldn't have Emerson Thome in my top 5 to be honest. Not that I didn't rate him but Bould, Mensah, Cradock, Brown, Evens for me.
