I would like to see some genuine cover/competition for Jose Enrique - we're pretty ****ed if he get's a long-term injury.

I think Pardew sees Ferguson as cover for Enrique. I think its bit early for him but obviously Pardew thinks really highly of him

Got to stay I would have Wright-Phillips, and I know I'm going to get slated for it but I would have brought Martins back, think he'd work well with Carroll and he did always give 100%.

What unambitious player would sign, solely as cover? No one better than Ferguson/Kadar. I think Saylor could play there as well if we were desperate, decent RB.

    JoKeR,

what's it like to be on a new site where you can't go racing to the Mods to get the bairns banned?

Never thought I'd find you over here.

Interesting to read your new profile regarding your job. I'd always had you down as a copper, or a traffic warden, or a park attendent (if they exist any more!) going beserk at someone for staying an extra minute on the tennis court or the bowls field.

You're definitely a rules 'n' regulations man, that's for sure.

The Ameobi banter will never be too WUM'd. It's the most pure form of football support and will never be criticized by another club.

Ferguson's a bit too lightweight at the minute for LB, looks to be a bit of a 'late bloomer'. Kadar (when he's back from loan) would be my 1st choice for cover, then Raylor (when fit) then Ameobi, then Carver, then Perch.

Late bloomer poor lad looks like hes still at primary school.

I reckon the tea lady and everybody in the stadium would be asked before Perch

I liked Martins when he was at his best... but he was more of an impact player than someone we could rely on!
