    If you bought the cheapest season ticket, had a pie tea and programme bought his and hers shirts and one each for the 2 kids it would cost £80 to have a family (2+2 ) at each home game! or spread through a year you would need to budget for about £70 a week!


    ps makes our gate receipts about £9m

    Add on a couple of gallons of petrol each game for my 120-mile round trip and it all adds up

    I would suspect odd bits of extra food snacks that may not be part of the daily intake adds up as well
    when I was working 6-2 shifts quite a long time ago now! we used to get a bag of chips or something similar en route, plus a bar or 2 even of chocolate crunchies usually

    if you look at the price of going to a concert, theatre,opera, ballet or whatever, football is pretty good value,
