Maybe one of the others will be leaving?

Why the hell are the owners doing trying to sign players without a manager! Really starting to get worried that they've got too cocky and too involved

I´m hoping this has alot to do with Shakespear & Walsh & not the board. But I must say I really don´t think we need a FOR. We´ve got Nuggent, Vardy, Okazaki & Kamaric. Not sure we have enough in DEF & I´d love a sort of David Silva type of player.

Have any of the new guy moan on twitter about NP´s sacking ? If not then it´s clear that NP never sign them.

Tony Fernandes has asked them to put a bid in to get the ball rolling, is my theory.

I may be clutching at straws, but if the Hiddink stuff is to be believed, maybe hes given the owners a list of targets while they cross the t's and dot the i's.

Personally i cant see this being true unless we are looking to offload Vardy Ulloa or Kramaric.

Would be Jon Rudkin, the director of football - NP technically never signed anyone but gave suggestions on who to sign.

I have no idea why we are bidding for him - we have Krameric (£9M), Ulloa (£7M), Okazaki (£7M), Vardy (England International) and Nugent (...)

Can see Nugent leaving but who would you leave on the bench and would he be happy to do so?

I think this would be the end of David Nugent but I don't get why we need another striker and especially one at £12M+

If the difference is valuation is £3M then I expect us to agree a fee with them

Scored 18 last season in a p*** poor team. Would be a good buy in my opinion, whoever's making the bid. Guess we could be close to announcing new manager who has already put in a list of targets? Who knows?

    Ok lets say Austin signs

    £15M Charlie Austin
    £10M Leonardo Ulloa
    £10M Andrej Kramaric
    £7M Shinji Okazaki

    Jamie Vardy
    David Nugent

We would have signed over £40M in strikers in the last year. Thats alot of money's worth either sitting on the bench or not even in the squad

Leo and Kramaric have both said there happy here. Purely speculating but maybe Vardy wants to go to Villa now Nigel has left

@Dorselator: I understand #lcfc would require a stringent medical before agreeing any deal for Austin after his long term knee injury problems. #ssnhq

Well there's a strong rumour going around that Kramaric is being eyed up by Bolonga who've just been promoted to the Italian Serie A (have I spelt Bolonga right, well you know who I mean) , so my theory is that perhaps Krammy is unsettled and Austin will replace him. Probably total pants but hey. Maybe we will play 4-1-5 !

Better than spending £35million on Andy Carroll!! The 4 plus keeping Vardy would be perfect. Nug was always Pearson's go to man in the championship, which I think is his level, so can see him going if we get offers. Wouldn't begrudge Vardy a move if he really wants to go but hopefully will stay.

Ive always said David Nugent is a very good championship striker and thats all he will be. He had a decent season last year, he added a lot to the team and did score some big goals (2nd against Man U, Liverpool, Everton, West Brom) but I think his days are numbered here with Okazaki coming in and if Austin comes in I think his days will be over

I would think if this was the case, then it would be Vardy and Nugent who leave, as I believe the other 4 are prem quality. But it would still mean 2 of them sitting on the bench!!!! Would they be happy with that?
