Gets you Morrison and Wiggins. With some change for good measure. £1+ million gets you Sarr. Let that sink in. Not saying Sarr was the worst last night, got a goal but his composure is horrible. Diarra was having to talk him through every minute whilst he was on the pitch.
Sarr is another example of the flawed recruitment policy, which can be summed up crudely as "Throw enough sh1t at the wall, and hope some of it sticks" My first reaction on seeing Sarr was to say 'Souleymayne Diarra Mark 2' - another supposedly talented & coveted overseas centre back who wore mittens in August & couldn't hack the physicality of English football. Sarr will be the same. RD won't care in the least as he only needs one in ten of his signings to turn a profit and he is a happy man.
You're not wrong in the success ratio. As long as the one placates areas of the fanbase and turns profit then it's pats on backs. Though he must get nervous when letting KM negotiate.
Should of bit their hands off. Bergdich is a lb and I assume he would be much better in his natural position, if not THD and Edwards are very promising youngsters by all accounts. That money could of also been used to buy Bulot/Henry/other LM.
I have a higher opinion of most when it comes to Morgan Fox, I think he's an alright full back for this league and was improving in the first few games of the season as he was gaining confidence going forward. However he is still no where near Wiggins in his prime in my opinion. If Wiggins can get his form back I think he's one of the best full backs in the division.
Roland needs the money to pay the wages of the flops like PolishPete who had to be shipped off, so he will bite the hand off anyone who makes such an offer for Fox or anyone else.
Listing these players is more depressing that an independent movie about a sad French clown. Wiggins, I didn't mind going, as Fox is proving capable. I think that Morrison and Bauer would have been excellent together, rather than this Sarr.
Wiggins was a teriffic player when he joined Charlton. However the continual (foot) injury problems meant he became an expensive non-playing player. The sale was the right move. Fox is an improving player who seems to be the current favourite scapegoat.
