delighted they say.. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/season-ticket-finance-deadline-closing-in-3127754.aspx Big club you say..
Confused?? you lot have been telling us financial backing is bad for 16 years???... So you weren't jealous after all then.
Who said big??? I'm happy having 8000 plus devoted supporters singing there hearts out each week... Something money can't buy, even with a shiny new stadium! But if you mean 'Big' in history, then yes... We were are the longest serving Bristol football club. With a Big history!
Well now you actually have some. (has someone found this missing billions yet??) we will see if you're foolish with it? Easy to crow and be all jealous when you've never had any.. You may be about to find out just how difficult it is to compete at a higher level (maybe!! ) Serious question.. Why do you need outside financial backing to build your stadium if you owner is a billionaire? Wouldn't that be the most sensible single thing he could do for you?
I was thinking, they class themselves of having more supporters than us because they had a bigger allocation at Wembley. So technically they believe they are more supported than Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Deluded not
Good to see that the boards are up and running. I thought everyone had gone on holiday; broken their keyboards; gone senile; preferred watching tennis.............. Hello to you all. Good to see you are still awake.
I thought I was on the wrong forum for a minute...SEVERN teds in a row all on a rovers forum... That must be there entire forum on here!!
It will be worth the wait...I know your excited but just stick with it... With the appointment of Michael cunnah who was chief executive for Wembley stadium, I'm sure things are in good hands....
Not being a multi billionaire businessman I wouldn't know? But seeing as you like rovers forums so much, give 'gaschat' a visit and the answer to your question is on there...or wait for CJS to return and I'm sure he will give you all the reasons in detail...
Why would it be worth the wait? I suspect it will be to you as anything with concrete instead of tarpaulin would be worth the wait. Just saying I've not seen anything yet regarding building on UWE apart from other buildings.
It might not even be on the UWE yet? Although that would be complicated! It's down to the freehold I believe? Wael wants to own the land instead of leasing it? And the club have said the longer spent in planning the better the stadium will be.....hence the delay?
