Leeds have made a 6m bid for Boro forward Rudy Gestede, though we are just hearing that the bid has been turned down.

Looks like the Whites have now turned their attention to Dutch forward Jay-Roy Grot. The 19 year old almost joined Fiorentina in the Summer but the Italians could not agree a fee with his current team NEC.




Liam Bridcutt has joined Forest for a reported 1m. He has signed a three year contract, and looks set to make his debut against Leeds on Saturday.




14,000 tickets have been sold so far for tonight's cup game against Newport County!!!

 

Glad Bridcutt got a move and although he could be solid I found his game boring and seemed to hold us back. We have Klich who is the best holding midfielder at the club to come in, Viera, O'Kane & Phillips all available to replace him. He was a top earner so by getting him & the other top earner off the books we have cash to play with, plus his £1m transfer fee to go with the £16m we got for Wood.

I can only see a win tonight as whatever team Tommy puts out will all be trying to get into the first 11 for Forest match.

Geastede isn't for me & wonder why we enquired about him, but I do like the look of the Beast that's Jay-Roy Grot

 

I don't know what you have seen to suggest klich is the best holding midfielder at the club. Barely played so far and seemed average against port vale. Granted he doesn't seem to be up to fitness just yet.

 

Josh his reputation is immense but he got a knock in pre-season and looks like he has got back up to match fitness now, but having to wait for a chance to force his way in. Too good to sit on the bench for long. He was also the first of Orta's buys this summer so cant imagine he is going to be the worst of them, can you?

 

Not saying either way. Just curious as to why you think this

 

Morning all. Got a feeling the new striker(s) will once again be unknowns to us. Rad has certainly done a sterling job in stopping leaks from the club. Also expecting a home win tonight. Cups may prove handy this season in keeping players sharp give the bigger squad we have

 

Good for him if he wants it, Millwall need a striker but he's too good for them

 

I think we will be as we are until the international break, but a couple of signings in the last few days before the window closes. PR thing is good for business.

I don't know why you think that, TC said himself yesterday day Radz and Orta are in Italy sorting a deal and we should have news very soon.
