Jack the prat hits a new low: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...rsenal-under-23s-man-city-shove-tunnel-fight/
There was a comment on the BBC text coverage that the Everton bench raced towards the 4th official. Edit - looks like DF has every confidence in his squad and so he should - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/norwich-city-s-new-boys-will-come-up-trumps-1-5157883 #hangoninthere
So Scotland manager calls up both Russ Martin and Naismith for next two matches. The NCFC fans have spent weeks claiming that these two are both pretty useless when wearing a club shirt so what does Strachan see in them? Is he just desperate for players? Lost track of Chris Martin, who has also been called up. He has been a prolific scorer in recent years.
Martin is not a decent championship player any longer, never mind international standard. In fact, he proved at Villa Park that he's more liability than asset these days. (The rest of the defence were equally guilty last weekend, not just RM.)
Is it just a coincidence that the only time our defence has played well and kept a clean sheet is when RM didn't start????? #irestmycase

It's not entirely far fetched. As it appears clubs aren't queuing round the block for him, perhaps a modest short term contract for a player with lots of experience at this level as a 3rd - 4th choice is not crazy. We extended RM contract and I'm not sure he is any better than Bass. He usually has one good season in him and Harry loves a good aging pro he has worked with before. If he wants him for the starting XI or pays the normal overinflated Rednapp wages then they would be stark staring bonkers! Bah!
It's interesting to read the comments on here in the context of Martin Penny's article in MFW: http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ll-the-webberlution-we-have-to-stick-with-it/ Many of those praising players after QPR are now attacking the same players after Villa. IMO it's one of the main things holding the club back. The current changes are revolution rather than evolution. There will be ups and downs, especially away from home against top sides. Penny gets this right IMO.
I am a little surprised about this. All the talk on will he get a call up etc. I thought, if he did get a call up, the pull of extending his Goal/Cap record might be too much to turn down. I think he has made the right decision for his career though. 100% focus on Everton is a smarter move.
2-0 Liverpool! This has been like watching the old Liverpool of exciting European nights! They have been explosive, and well deserve at least 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Nice I am always so impressed everytime I watch him play. Just as I say that. Mane just set up another goal. 3-0 Liverpool.Amazing football by Liverpool. Mane is unplayable tonight.
And yet, to look at him so small and slight, you'd never believe him to be so talented, it looks like you only have to breathe on him to bully him off the ball!
His control, pace and decision making is so sharp. It gives him such a head start in every way on the opposition. When it was rumored Liverpool were interested, I said to my Arsenal supporting Parent inlaws. You should bid for him, he's be perfect for you. I stand by that. He could easily be another player in the next few windows that a Barca or Madrid keep bidding for.
The draw has been incredibly kind to us this year. I hope we don't slump out, away at Brentford. I was kind of hoping for a home draw against a big team.
