    Good Signing. Looks very comfortable on the ball, and loves a long left to right pass. Here's the you tube guys and gals. Also adds height to to the team at nearly 6'4"

    One of those "long passes" ended up in the opoosition goal, he does know we don't do that sort of thing at Southampton, doesn't he?

    I'm also not pesimistic, just waiting to see. I was optimistic about Boufal, but a year has passed and we're still waiting for any real impact from him.

    There have been the explanations on Boufal though, so I wouldn't really expect an impact until his season. He was injured in April badly and came back in October. No pre-season. New league.

    There could also be a number of reason why Hoedt and Lemina might not hit the ground running, so I prefer not to get ahead of myself.

    Am I'm really here under scrutiny because I'm not optimistic <laugh>

    No, but look at it this way. I suppose it is because you are supposed to be a supporter. Supporters support. Therefore it's sort of dutiful to be optimistic, not realistic or pessimistic at the outset. Perhaps Lemina and the Other One will give you plenty of occasions [or maybe not] to be realistic and pessimistic, but let's start off the season by being optimistic. It costs nothing. Have I sold the idea.? :rolleyes:
