Does sound like Barcelona wanted to show their supporters that they had "tried" their best to replace Neymar. Not sure they were that keen after their first offer was rejected. Their last offer was just a laughable PR stunt and no better than their previous ones. The person who had lost most from this seems to have been Coutinho. He has lost the fans. But a few good (important) goals might start his rehabilitation
Coutinho deal off 07.30: The Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona saga is nearly over - and Liverpool have won the battle, according to Guillem Balague. Barcelona have made three bids for Coutinho but are yet to make a breakthrough with Liverpool insisting he won’t be sold. And Balague thinks the situation is now closed. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...-LIVE-updates-Philippe-Coutinho-Mateo-Kovacic
Not the first time in this little saga he will be wrong. We all need to now see this **** is in their pocket and was part of their attack on us so he should be black listed
I do think we won't see Coutinho play for us for quite some time. If he has refused to play for us then he will find himself to be very lonely and most likely fined by the club. Nothing like the Suarez situation. He was one of the best players to ever play for us and one of the best in the world, he was also just desperate to play and loves to compete. Coutinho isn't, I don't see the fans getting behind him nor do I see him putting in the performances to turn things around.
Messi 'will sign new deal' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims that Lionel Messi is certain to sign a new deal at Barcelona. The Catalan club are desperate to tie down their star man following the departure of Neymar and while he has not put pen to paper yet, all has been agreed. Liverpool would have sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona if Adam Lallana was fit - Barton
pah... he's on 400k a week after tax. he can **** off if he wants cos barca are going broke paying him.
I ****ing hate the way Sky Sports in particular amongst other UK football sites kiss Ballbag's rectum, as if he's in constant communication with all the top Spanish club's chairmen, secretaries etc and all the top players in Spain, he's full of **** and believing the **** feeds his greasy ego even more.
sky only so it cos of their revista show. he's not constantly in anything he's an open conduit for them to spout what they want said but he's also not trusted by a single on of them.
So did we miss the deadline to sell Coutinho? Or are Barca going to extend it because they're ever so kind.
Joey Barton. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...tinho-Barcelona-sale-Adam-Lallana-Joey-Barton The English version of Gollum Ballbag.
all it is is he was initially active on twitter and got an in with rafa as friendly journo.. from that he got his sky work and he's made a career out of it pretending to be the font of all knowledge when in fact all it is is recycling stuff seen elsewhere plus being an open door for certain clubs to pass their desired lines on. The spanish see him as a useful conduit to sew discord in england.
there's not a thing wrong with what he said... except... there wasn't one decent offer made... like outside that he is deal right. buy 130mil worth of players out of 16mil is a miracle of barca proportions
Reporter: ‘With the rumours of Barca paying £130m for Coutinho, will he leave?’ Klopp: ‘They didn’t offer that, we said no, yet they offered, I think tomorrow they will offer a McDonald’s Happy Meal and we get the toy as well!?’
