Six years ago today TF assumed ownership of QPR, newly-promoted to the Premier League and we were promised the Earth. New stadium, new training ground and a lofty ambition of finishing 17th in the big league. Six years and some £250 million later and our ambitions are a new stadium, a new training ground and a lofty ambition of finishing 21st in the Championship. We are now in a situation where we are struggling to sign even modest unknowns as many players choose teams with more realistic prospects. I suppose we will know that players who do sign for us will not be coming for the money but I fear we face many more years of 'famine' to put things right, not a very pleasing prospect. I guess in another six years time we will be still wondering where that new stadium will be coming from...
Forget the new ground it will never come be lucky if we get the training ground and with good scouting who knows?
250 million That's about 3 Chelsea player's these days So the job of sorting Qpr out is bigger than Tony envisaged I hope he learns from the many lessons he has had in those six years and gets us to where we all think we should be
The soap opera that we are, we won't stay dormant for too long. It's not the QPR way. No, something will happen to either go sliding up..... or down, one way or another. I hope we can pull a rabbit if out a hat and swing north again........ as long as Harry Sh!tbags has nothing to do with us. Stay positive people, just cross those fingers a little bit harder and hope like hell.
I absolutely love our ground I love nearly all our team as well currently We can beat anyone on our day and its a great league
I would drive any of our last four or the current one to Loftus Road if you want. All make TF look like a saint.
I hope he learns from the many lessons he has had in those six years and throws himself out of an upper storey skyscraper window holding a rubber chicken.
