Interesting that Pontus agrees with some of us about not needing another defender. I guess it's true that it's a hard sell to get a loanee or permie in with the lure of being the #4.

However ....... it all depends on Pennington! (Conspiracy theory time again! ) If Pennington is a short term injury, then Pontus is quite right, IMO. Now if Pennington's injury is in fact long term, then we don't have 4 - we effectively have 3, so we really do need another. Next question - why have we not received an update on Pennington's (and Berra's) injury? The club have never been quick to update the fans on injuries, but this takes the biscuit - almost a fortnight now.

And now for the conspiracy bit (which I've posted before) - could it be that Pennington's injury has a longer recovery time than the club are comfortable with? If so, do you make it public, allowing other clubs to sniff your desperation & bump up their prices - or do you keep schtum whilst you have a look around? Hope it's not the case, but it worryingly fits.

Ola from a blisteringly hot Spain, think Snoddy is shot because of injuries and I think people want him back because of this weird obsession some Leeds have with resigning ex-players. His day is done, time to move on for me. On a plus spoke to the bloke who runs the local bar and he is putting the Sunderland v Leeds game on for me on Sunday
