You are just digging a hole for yourself mate.

There's plenty other things to wum on.

Hoffenheim were pants. There was ****e all wrong with theirbpitch, they just were poor defenders and chose to seek lovren and Moreno long cos our two were total ****.

Plus our pitch will be fresh, you should wait to see it before declaring it best in the world <laugh>

Honest to God all hoffenheim need is a few frees and corners and they wI'll get a few goals.... just draw two lfc cms and one pass push someone in.... we honestly would have to have played a league 2 side to get this result in England.

You've had your answer from luv and me, and he said he doesn't want to engage in a protracted debate over a pointless issue, so why keep poking him?
A better pitch will suit both teams because they're both ball-playing sides, so what else is there to say?
It would be really nice now and again to be able to discuss our own team performance without having to fend off irrelevancies by people just looking for a bite.

So many thing wrong, clear advantage who said that?
You can play well too, where did I suggest you couldn't?
I get more sense and reasonable response from the Spurs lads than some on here who just hate any Manc posting here and want to call wun on everything we post.

In short, #rattled is probably right but I have no idea what about <ok>

Considering they went unbeaten on their own pitch last season I'm sure our pitch isn't going to help them more than us. Poor wum attempt!

Pleased with that result obviously, shame about the late consolation but we are in a good position now.

Just hoping we don't concede first at Anfield <whistle> #nojinx

Lovren was poor, Moreno was scary (again)........................Mane was quality

For a game we started without our first choice FB's and without Couts and Lala creating in midfield that's a cracking result <applause>

Can't see why these two played again tonight. Both poor at the weekend, can't understand them playing again this weekend, unless Klopp is making a point, lack of quality bought in defence.

It's a win. That's great but the potential for ****ing this up in the next match is staggeringly high, staggeringly high

And were the usual suspects trying to sabotage things as usual ?? Yes of course they ****ing were, Lovren and Moreno the two ****wits, the two stooges, the two Ronnies, tweedle dum and tweedle ****ing dee who basically need ****ing sacking and banning from the club forever, the two of them don't have two ****ing brain cells to knock together

At times in our box or around it everything looked so similar to how Watford ended up with their third goal on Saturday that it simply defies belief. I mean, what's the issue here, is nobody bothered about sorting it out, does nobody notice this **** ??

To put this win into context, we're the first team to beat Hoffenheim on their own turf in 15 months. This is a really good result and could have been better (could have easily been worse as well!).

We were wasteful in front of goal but still positive to see that our front three are getting into great positions and creating good chances.

The midfield was ****n again but we looked marginally better once Henderson came off - won't dwell on Hendersons performance because I think there is something wrong with his fitness. Gini went missing again and Can was best of a bad bunch.

Whilst our defence are not helped by a non existent midfield, they don't do themselves any favours. Lovren turned in arguably the most pathetic CB performance you are likely to see. I said before, this guy almost single handedly cost us a top 4 place last season and he did his best to **** us up in the qualifier.

I thought Migs was shaky on set pieces but overal, was very good and made crucial saves.

I don't know how we managed that, but a 2-1 away win against a decent team is a good confidence boost.

Shout outs to the boy wonder TAA who has an excellent game (but needs to learn to play to the whistle!!).

And My MOTM, Mane who beat his man at will today.

I'm the only one who feels sorry for Moreno it seems. The lad was really overworked by Hoffeinhiem as they targeted him time and time again. The lads a midget and no one from midfield was helping home with the overload.

It is a fact that if you face like 20 balls sooner or later the opposition will mug you and make you look stupid. After all the goal didnt come from his side yet he takes the brunt of the blame.

On the attack I still think Salah is better than he is putting out at the moment. He still looks like he is in two minds like he is trying hard to prove that the first time in England was just bad timing. After a few more games I expect to see more composure and goals

I don't understand the negativity. Yes we could have played better and made fewer mistakes. The overall performance could have been better but this is the start of the season and there is plenty of time for fine tuning.

Hoffenheim will probably play better next week but so will we. There is a certain naivety in their play and if the likes of Mane are on their game we should score.

A win against a German side in the CL should always be savoured. <ok>
