Was pinning a lot of my hopes on him, not ideal to have the exact defence we finished with in the championship

Which was the exact defence we finished with in the Premiership before.

The defence isn't a problem - the midfield is far more of an issue with ginge, baldy psycho and Diame, and attack is also **** as Gayle will always be crocked and Mitro and Perez will manage about 2 each.

Completely disagree. Even in the Championship we had a tendency to not keep clean sheets, let alone in this league. Collectively our defence has a few mistakes per game in them; in the Champ you get away with it, in this league you just don't.

Interesting to see how long a spell Dummy will be spending on the touchlines as well looked like his hammy went and if so thats 4 weeks minimum as well.

Might be worth going to 3 at the back with Mbemba, Lacelles and Clarke with Yedlin/Manquillo at Full backs, if Yedlin isn't fit I guess stay with 4 at the back and Mbemba to RB and Manquillo across to LB?

Show's the need for a LB (which I personally wasn't to worried about) if Clark picks up a suspension or injury we could be up a creek looking at Haidara, Lazaar or Gamez coming back in.

Good job we don't play with 10 men, I mean play with HBA, any more.

Yeah, would be a disaster having a talented footballer in the team. Much better sticking with the likes of Perez

He is indeed a talented player. Just a pity it was a one in 20 games talent ala Sissoko.

Don't you mean Harry Kane has torn his ligaments....****ing twat! Not defending Shelvey's actions by any stretch of the imagination but it was hardly a stamp on Ali, its not like he was jumping up and down on him or lunged into him at full pelt like Kane did which has clearly caused much more damage. **** all can be done about that tho as he was given a yellow at the time !

Hopefully a false rumour but if not a lot depends on the severity of the ligament tear. Would likely be 6-8 weeks out.

Kane's tackle was bad but it was just that, a bad tackle. Mistimed and could have been dangerous but it's a contact sport so it's going to happen from time to time.
Shelvey was an absolute dick and didn't need to do what he did even if it wasn't particularly vicious, the lad is a complete buffoon and gave the ref no choice!
